Où en est l'enquête technique relative à l'accident du Concorde le 25 July 2000 trois mois après l'accident ?

trois mois après l'accident ? Trois mois après l'accident, deux mois après la publication du rapport préliminaire, l'enquête technique se poursuit activement. Une vingtaine d'enquêteurs techniques, français et britanniques, continuent à y travailler, assistés d'une trentaine d'experts, pour la plupart à plein temps.

Plusieurs des sept groupes de travail définis après l'accident ayant achevé leur mission, l'enquête s'est réorganisée autour des quatre domaines suivants :

  • Travail sur l'épave
  • Examen de la conduite du vol et des performances de l'avion
  • Étude des événements antérieurs et de la réglementation
  • Recherches techniques

Les expertises organisées dans le cadre de la procédure judiciaire sur les moteurs, la lamelle métallique, le pneu n°2 et la pièce de réservoir retrouvée sur la piste, ainsi que la reconstitution à plat de l'aile gauche dans le hangar, ne sont pas terminées. Les enquêteurs techniques ont accès à ces expertises et travaux dont les résultats pourront contribuer aux recherches et analyses conduites pour préciser le mécanisme de l'accident.

Ces travaux et recherches vont se poursuivre encore pendant plusieurs mois. Ce travail se fait en liaison avec les services français et britanniques qui étudient les conditions de remise en service du Concorde.

En ce qui concerne la lamelle métallique, des travaux sont en cours avec la collaboration du NTSB pour déterminer pourquoi et comment elle est tombée du DC 10.
