Following the accident that happened at 6 h 00 this morning, local time, at Tripoli airport (Libya) to the Airbus A 330 operated by Afriqiyah Airways, and in accordance with international provisions, an initial team of two BEA investigators, accompanied by five advisors from Airbus, will be travelling to the accident site in the coming hours.

The BEA reminds you that information on the technical investigation is the responsibility of the Libyan civil aviation authorities.
