Flight UP1354 on 14 August 2013 A300-600, registered N155UP - information on August 14, 2013
Following the accident that occurred today at Birmingham International Airport, Alabama, USA, to the Airbus A300-600, flight UP 1354 operated by United Parcel Service, the NTSB (National Transportation Safety Board) has initiated an investigation.
The BEA, representing the State of Manufacture, is participating in the investigation in accordance with the provisions of ICAO Annex 13.
A team of four BEA investigators will be travelling to the accident site by tomorrow morning. They will be assisted by Airbus technical advisors.
All information on the investigation is the sole responsibility of the NTSB.
